Job summary

Techwave is hiring an Entry-Level Engineering Assistant in Houston, TX to support OSP fiber network design. You will draft telecom designs using CAD tools, assist with ROW and permit research, and prepare design packages, collaborating with engineering and field teams.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, a high school diploma, and proficiency in Excel/Word. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for site work.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation or similar drafting tools.
• High School diploma required; Engineering degree preferred.
• Exposure to OSP telecom or utility construction is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
