Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration in Charleston, SC is hiring for field technicians to perform residential and commercial cleaning, water, fire and mold damage restoration, and related tasks. You will operate extraction equipment, document work in our digital system, and maintain a professional appearance on-site.

We provide comprehensive paid training, uniforms, and opportunities for advancement. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
• 1-3 years of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.).
• IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification is highly preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environments.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
• Willingness to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willingness to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial carpet, upholstery, tile/grout, and HVAC duct cleaning services.
• Assist in water, fire, and mold damage restoration jobs, including demolition, drying, cleaning, and deodorization.
• Operate extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and other tools.
• Document work performed using our digital job management system.
• Communicate respectfully with customers and team members.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance on the job.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.

Compensation

• Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added.
• KPI-based bonuses and commissions can also be earned on top of hourly rate.
