Job description

Join to apply for the Entry Level Technical Project Manager role at IBM.

We are looking for an entry-level project manager to help coordinate and drive the successful delivery of an ambitious multi-product documentation and learning platform. You will be the organizational backbone that keeps our project moving forward—working across engineering, design, product, and stakeholders to ensure we ship quality work on time, within scope, to solve our user’s problems.

Your Role And Responsibilities
  • You will help manage the delivery of a modern web platform that will help our users: learn how our products work and fit into their current workflows.
  • Manage their deployments including problem solving, implementing new features, and scaling their current implementation.
  • Build on our products to discover new use cases and integrations.

This is a complex, multi-faceted project with many moving parts. You will help ensure all those parts work together seamlessly.

What You Will Do
  • Plan and track work across sprints, milestones, and releases.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve blockers that slow down progress or create dependencies.
  • Facilitate communication through stand‑ups, planning sessions, and status updates.
  • Monitor project health by tracking timelines, scope, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Document processes and decisions to keep the team aligned and informed.
  • Manage schedules and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Flag risks early and work with the team to develop mitigation plans.
Why This Role Is Special
  • Learn from experienced leaders: Work alongside seasoned project managers, engineers, and product managers who will mentor your growth.
  • Greenfield opportunity: Help establish processes, workflows, and ways of working from day one rather than inheriting rigid structures.
  • Broad exposure: Gain visibility into all aspects of building a complex web platform—engineering, design, product, QA, and launch.
  • Real impact: Your organizational skills will directly influence whether this ambitious project succeeds.
  • Career foundation: Build transferable project management skills applicable to any industry or domain.
Preferred Education
