Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an entry-level SSE engineer to develop embedded security solutions for warfighter systems. You will work onsite to define requirements, assess CPI, and ensure DoD licensing compliance.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a STEM field and coursework in security engineering, anti-tamper, and cybersecurity. This is an onsite position with potential relocation considerations and strong security clearance expectations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience / coursework with one or more of: System Security Engineering, Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems Security, Embedded Hardware, Embedded Software, Real-time Embedded Systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Systems Security Engineering (SSE) solutions in our products to define requirements, solutions, trades, costs, and implementation strategies.
• Conduct attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments.
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
