Job summary

Cortina Solutions is seeking an entry-level System Administrator (Data & Test/Simulation Support) to assist the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division. You will support lab operations, configure systems for simulation events, and provide real-time technical support shaping naval technology.

This role integrates with M&S and T&E teams, requiring flexible hours for active test events and strong data management and IT skills in Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• 0–3 years of relevant system administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support in compliance with SECNAV M-5239.2; maintain certifications and training.
• Manage file and data storage for tests.
• Execute system patching.
• Assist with data security controls.
• Use DoD-approved tools to assess, remediate, and maintain system readiness.
