Job summary

Spot On Surveying, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Survey Crew member to join our team in Buda, TX. This role offers a fantastic start to a career in land surveying, working with experienced professionals outdoors on real projects.

You will assist with field data collection, operate total stations and GPS/GNSS equipment, set survey stakes, and help document survey results while following safety protocols on every job site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training provided; no prior surveying experience required.
• Outdoor work in varying weather and terrain.
• Physically capable of walking long distances, lifting equipment, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and a team-first attitude.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist survey crew with field data collection, measurements, and boundary surveys.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment including total stations, GPS/GNSS instruments, and levels.
• Set survey stakes, flagging, and markers accurately in the field.
• Clear vegetation and obstacles to establish survey lines.
• Record field notes and assist with documentation of survey data.
• Transport and care for equipment to and from job sites.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment on all job sites.
