Job summary

Analogue Studio in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Designer with a background in architecture or interior design. The ideal candidate will guide projects, support design development and construction documents, and collaborate with a small team.

The role involves design, drafting, coordination with engineers and consultants, and helping manage project administration. A 0-3 year experience preference, degree in design, and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least two years of experience in design.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
  • Experience with project planning and coordinating with clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Support interior architecture and new construction projects across multiple sectors.
  • Develop design concepts through iterative, collaborative processes.
  • Produce design and construction drawings to realize concepts.
  • Assist with construction administration to ensure design intent.
  • Create design documents communicating intent and construction details.
  • Coordinate changes with team members.
  • Review engineers' and consultants' work for compatibility.
  • Organize and maintain project files and directories.
  • Support or lead construction administration tasks (submittals, RFIs, site visits).
  • Mentor peers and junior staff within the studio.
  • Engage with project partners to ensure quality and timeliness.
