KPFF Consulting Engineers in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to join our growing team. You will assist in analysis, design, and documentation of various structural systems, working closely with experienced engineers to develop your skills.

This role offers exposure to diverse projects, site visits, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams while you develop professional credentials and contribute to project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• EIT certification or clear path to obtain within six months.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and mechanics.
• Basic knowledge of building codes and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural analysis and design of building components under guidance of senior engineers.
• Prepare structural calculations and technical documentation for projects.
• Support design development and develop design solutions for various structural systems.
• Create and modify structural drawings using Revit or similar software.
• Participate in site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress.
• Prepare engineering reports to support project deliverables and decisions.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders for project execution.
• Maintain project records and documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to quality control processes to ensure designs meet standards.
