Job summary

Leviat in Shah Alam, Malaysia is hiring an entry-level Structural Engineer to provide design support for construction projects onsite. You will ensure drawings, calculations and procedures meet required standards while coordinating with team members to deliver safe and efficient solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural engineering degree, are familiar with AutoCAD and Revit workflows, and registered with BEM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
  • Registered with Board Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is required.
  • 1–3 years of structural design/detailing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understand basic structural analysis and ensure drawings meet deadlines and quality.
  • Prepare and produce detailing drawings, calculations, reports and materials take-off.
  • Design and run experiments to create workable solutions.
  • Produce shop drawings based on architectural and structural drawings.
  • Assist in value engineering to optimize cost and construction speed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety in designs.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures and internal audits.
