Overview

VHB is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic and growing Structures group in our Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the structural design of transit and highway structures from conceptual to final design
• Participate in site visits to collect data necessary for preliminary design
• Assist in drafting of project details and plans using Microstation, AutoDesk or other CAD software
• Preparation of quantity calculations and cost estimate
• Assists in preparing contract documents and specifications
