Job summary

KL&A is seeking a talented engineer to join our Carbondale office. This position requires a Master’s degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering and EIT registration. You will be expected to work collaboratively while focusing on client-centered service and technical excellence.

The starting salary ranges from $70,000 to $76,000 with occasional profit-based bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, and a comprehensive retirement plan.

Required Qualifications

• Able to work in the US now and in the future WITHOUT sponsorship
• Master’s degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering
• Registered EIT license.
• Demand quality and continued improvement
• A passion for design and problem solving
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in Revit and produce contract documents
• Dedication to client‑centered service and technical excellence

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Revit Structures or other 3D software
• Experience with analysis software such as RAM, RISA or ETABS
• Internship experience with a consulting or construction firm

Salary

$70,000 to $76,000. Occasional bonuses paid based on company profitability, but are not guaranteed.
