Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Paid on-the-job training provided.
• 40-hour work week; overtime and weekends may be required.
• Must be 18+ and able to identify power delivery components.

Responsibilities

• Performs work from aerial devices to install and maintain streetlights.
• Operate digger derrick trucks, bucket trucks, backhoes, air compressors, generators, and hand tools.
• Maneuver construction equipment safely during all tasks.
• Excavate ground areas for poles or foundations.
• Keep logs of the job process and stay organized.
• Coordinate with locating companies to identify underground hazards.
• Interpret construction plans and blueprints; execute the plan accurately.
• Maintain good relations with traffic control and utility partners.
• Communicate with management about all job functions.
• Work safely near energized equipment and respond to emergencies with first responders.
