Job summary

Path Light Pro seeks a Full-Time Entry-Level Stormwater Erosion Inspector in Raleigh, NC. The role involves evaluating construction sites for EPA Stormwater, OSHA, QA, and IECC compliance, documenting findings, and communicating regulatory requirements to clients.

The ideal candidate works outdoors in all weather, has an AA/AS or trade degree, and is detail-oriented with a willingness to travel and lift heavy loads as needed.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or trade/vocational degree required.
• Knowledge of general construction and environmental regulations is a plus.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Must be able to walk up and down inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must be able to travel and work at remote sites.
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction site evaluations to assess EPA Stormwater compliance, OSHA Safety compliance, Quality Assurance Inspections and IECC Energy compliance.
• Verify that proper BMPs, safety measures, and Energy Code requirements comply with regulations.
• Complete site evaluation documentation in electronic systems and onsite records.
• Communicate regulatory requirements to client onsite personnel.
• Consult with clients to anticipate compliance issues and improve operations.
• Update SWPPP logs, site BMP maps, and site postings.
• Communicate daily with supervisor and maintain client relationships.
• Be proactive in learning regulatory requirements and problem solving.
• Educate clients on Path Light Pro services and related value additions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
