Job summary

Sonic Tools USA INC. in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Staff Accountant for recent graduates and early-career professionals to support daily accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting within a collaborative Finance team.

You will gain exposure to inventory, ERP and BI systems, and cross‑functional processes while contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn new software systems and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, financial statement preparation, and management reporting.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account analysis, and resolving discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, sales tax, intercompany reconciliations, and compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.
• Create standard and ad-hoc reports and analyze financial data to support business decisions.
• Utilize Fishbowl, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI to manage data, reporting, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Warehouse, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve accounting issues and improve business processes.
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
