Qualifications

• 0–1 year of professional software testing experience preferred.
• Recent graduates welcome.
• Foundational knowledge of software testing concepts (SDLC/STLC).
• Familiarity with requirements and functional testing.
• Ability to write and maintain test cases and defect reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn testing tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and identify testing scenarios.
• Develop and execute manual test cases based on functional specs.
• Analyze application behavior and compare expected vs. actual results.
• Document defects and maintain testing records.
• Assist with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Support requirements traceability and test coverage documentation.
• Track defects and testing activities using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with QA analysts, business analysts, and development teams.
• Participate in Agile meetings and communicate testing progress.
• Prepare basic test execution reports and summarize outcomes.
• Verify resolved defects and assist with release validation.
• Contribute to overall software quality initiatives.
