Job summary

Tecta America Zero Company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sheet Metal Helper to assist with fabrication and installation on commercial roof systems. You will work with the roofing crew to complete tear-offs, installations, and related tasks.

Responsibilities include laying out flashings, assisting foremen, design/layout assistance, shearing metal, and operating sheet metal brakes. Entry-level friendly with on-site training opportunities and physical job demands.

Qualifications

1 year commercial experience sheet metal roofing.
Open to entry level.
Willing to train.
Must lift 50+ lbs regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling.
Must be able to climb a ladder 40'.
Must be able to work in the heat and sub-zero cold.
No fear of heights.
Valid driver's required.
Must work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Lay out architectural sheet metal flashings- copings, fascia, gutters, downspouts, counter flashings and misc trim
Assisting the sheet metal foreman and superintendent
Assisting in design and layout
Sheering metal
Operating RAS autobrake and manual sheet metal brake
