Overview

Guardian Angel Senior Services is looking to add Caregivers/Home Health Aide to join our team who are compassionate and support elderly residents in their homes with all daily activities, ensuring residents' safety and well-being by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and secure environments.

No prior experience needed – we’ll train you!

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping such as vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean bathroom and kitchen
• Laundry services
• Reminding about medications and assisting with pre-dosed medications
• Supervision and assistance in bathing, dressing/undressing, and other hygiene-related tasks (Not applicable to individuals with no experience or certification)
• Meal preparation and serving to clients, following all dietary requirements
• Shopping for groceries and other household needs (NOT APPLICABLE FOR NON-DRIVERS)
• Continence care (Not applicable to individuals with no experience or certification)
• Assistance with mobility and encouragement to follow prescribed exercise programs, including range of motion exercises and walking (Not applicable to individuals with no experience or certification)
• Assistance transferring clients from bed to chair or to other equipment (Not applicable to individuals with no experience or certification)
• Assistance in turning and repositioning the client and providing care to pressure points (e.g., back rubs) (Not applicable to individuals with no experience or certification)

Requirements
