Job summary

MSR-FSR, LLC in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks an entry-level Preventive Maintenance Technician to support semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom setting. You will assist with preventive maintenance on Thermal Management Systems and learn on-the-job with certifications to advance.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and SOP adherence, performing inspections, setup, leak checks, and hands-on maintenance while collaborating with experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read English and follow technical procedures and instructions.
• Experience with basic hand tools in a professional or personal setting.
• Local candidates preferred; willingness to work a 12-hour shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with Preventive Maintenance on Thermal Management Systems (TMS).
• Support removal, cleaning, and reinstallation of exhaust spool pieces and pump assemblies.
• Perform leak checks, quality checks, and equipment inspections as directed.
• Set up and tear down work areas including tools, parts, PPE, and Red Tape zones.
• Assist with parts receiving, inspection, and staging.
• Work safely at heights using ladders and platforms, utilizing fall arrest equipment.
• Work in environments involving chemicals, exhaust systems, electrical systems, gas lines, and abatement equipment.
• Remain flexible to both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance demands.
• Follow all applicable SOPs and site documentation.
