Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Marshall, MN is seeking an Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare wafers and components, process items to our specifications, and perform basic machine setup with occasional CNC programming as needed.

No education required, but strong hand dexterity, reliable attendance, and the ability to use a microscope for long hours are essential. Schedule: Mon-Thu 7am-4:30pm, Fri 7am-11am; Pay: $17/hour.

Qualifications

• No education or experience required, but highly beneficial.
• Great hand dexterity.
• Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually).
• Ability to use a microscope for 9 hours daily.
• Ability to maintain good relationships with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of wafers, components or semi-products and monitors related hand-stock.
• Processing components or semi-products/products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Performing basic machine-related setup and/or CNC / SPS-programming, if required.
• Cooperating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues.
• Executes task(s), as ordered or explained.
• Reports any failure or dysfunctionality to responsible employees or supervisor.
• Obeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.
