Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking Entry Level Security Officers for full-time roles in Tucson, AZ. The job focuses on maintaining a safe environment, controlling access, and patrolling client sites while enforcing site regulations and directives.

Candidates should be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, have strong customer service and teamwork skills, and be able to work independently. Pre-employment screening will be conducted, including drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and manage access control and patrolling.

• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Operate technology devices used during shift and conduct property tours.
• Carry out tasks and duties at assigned site as required.

Entry Level Security Officers - Full Time

Primary Location: Tucson, AZ

Wage: $16.50/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.

• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.

• Conduct tours of the property.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.

• Must be able to work independently.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.

• Must have a professional demeanor.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Valid Arizona Unarmed Guard Card preferred, but not required.

• Must be able to stand / walk for extended periods of time.

• Must have a clear MVR and a valid Arizona Driver’s License.
