Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring Security Officers. Positions are available on various shifts, including weekends. The pay range is $14.49-$16.00 per hour, with weekly compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Applicants must be 18+, pass a lifetime background check and drug screening, and possess a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a lifetime background check and drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have excellent communication, customer service, and de-escalation skills.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Must be comfortable and efficient using computers.
• Position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
• Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, a hard hat, and long sleeves.

Responsibilities

• Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and may include climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
