Qualifications

• 18+ years old and customer service experience is required.
• Ability to accurately assess and evaluate situations.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, lift 50 lbs., and stand/sit for extended periods.
• Proficiency with computers, phones, and 2-way radios.
• Ability to learn new software and systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Close attention to detail and high integrity are essential.
• 1+ years of security or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diligently monitor properties using equipment and routine patrols.
• Manage individual access and investigate suspicious persons or activities.
• Remain visible and present at all times.
• Greet guests, staff, and vendors courteously.
• Address disorder and respond to distress calls and alarms promptly.
• Collaborate with other security officers to ensure full coverage.

ABOUT THIS PART-TIME JOB

Here's what your days will look like as our Entry-Level Security Officer:

• Diligently monitoring properties by using equipment and conducting regular patrols
• Managing individual access and investigating suspicious persons or activities
• Remaining visible and present at all times
• Greeting guests, staff, and vendors
• Quickly jumping into action as needed to handle disorderly and disruptive people and respond to distress calls and panic alarms
• Working with other security officers to maintain comprehensive coverage
