Job summary

The Sec & Derivative Intmd Assoc Analyst is an entry level position at Citi responsible for processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices, coordinating with Operations - Transaction Services to assist clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. Hybrid role: office attendance 3 days/week, 11:00–20:00 shift with Friday expiry work.

Primary location is Jersey City, NJ.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment.
• Futures trade processing and clearing.

• Reconciliation of physical products
• Friday expiry processing
• Identify policy gaps and enhance the streamlining of flows & processes
• Resolve settlement related issues and escalates as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
• Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
• Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the Firm
• Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management
• Support implementation of securities processing improvements
• Review and analyze derivative trade activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing.
• Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards
