Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is seeking an entry-level Roofer to support residential roof installations and repairs at our Massachusetts site in Franklin. You will help with material handling, site setup, and safety compliance while learning the trade in a supportive team environment.

The role requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift materials and work at heights. Transportation to job sites is needed; training is provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in roofing or related fields preferred.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing and repairing residential roofing systems.
• Carry and organize materials and tools on the job site.
• Follow instructions from team leaders and foremen.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean worksite.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting materials and climbing ladders.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools is preferred but not required.
