AtkinsRéalis is seeking an entry-level Roadway Engineer in Miami, FL to support the Roads & Highways Team. You will participate in developing conceptual, preliminary, and final plans, and assist with environmental documents and public hearing materials.

The role emphasizes technical writing, teamwork, and training on MicroStation and design software such as GeoPak, InRoads, or OpenRoads; EI certification is required for professional registration eligibility.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; entry-level position.
• 0–2 years of related technical experience preferred.
• Engineering Intern (EI) certification required.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to train on CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of conceptual, preliminary, and final roadway designs.
• Assist with environmental documentation and public hearing materials.
• Prepare reports, permit materials, and graphical presentations.
• Support construction cost estimates with quantity calculations.
