Memorial Health System is seeking a Respiratory Care role to provide basic respiratory care under direct supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Therapist in Marietta, OH.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and an active Ohio Respiratory Care Limited Permit, with licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner to be obtained within one year of permit issuance. BLS is required on hire, and duties include patient education and equipment management.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Current Ohio Respiratory Care Limited Permit to practice in Ohio required.
• Must obtain an Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner License within 1 year from permit issuance.
• BLS required upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Develops respiratory care plans under supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• Performs basic respiratory procedures: oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, incentive spirometry, chest percussion, EKGs, NIV.
• Educates patients and families on medications and disease management; documents assessments.
• Handles setup, cleaning, maintenance, and transport of respiratory care equipment with guidance.
• May observe/participate in Code Blue, Code Pink, Rapid Response, and Trauma alerts with Respiratory Care Practitioner.
