Job summary

UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s in Cleveland is seeking an entry-level Respiratory Therapy equipment tech who is currently enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program. You will clean, maintain, and set up respiratory equipment, sterilize non-disposable supplies, and help stock RT inventory throughout the hospital.

You will also assist RT staff with non-clinical duties and follow all policies, PHI safeguards, and orientation documentation.

Qualifications

Must be a current Respiratory Therapy student.
Clean, maintain and set up all respiratory therapy equipment.
Clean and sterilize non-disposable supplies.
Stock and maintain RT inventory in storeroom and RT areas.

Responsibilities

Cleaning, Maintaining & Set up of all respiratory therapy equipment
Clean & sterilization of all non-disposable supplies
Stocks and maintains RT inventory in storeroom and in RT areas throughout the facility as needed
Assists the RT staff with any non-clinical duties
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
