Job summary

Edelman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electric & Solar is hiring entry‑level residential electricians for Champaign and Bloomington, IL. This full‑time, non‑exempt role offers a 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with occasional evenings or weekends and pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

We provide hands‑on training, support from experienced electricians, and clear opportunities for advancement. A driver’s license and the ability to bring essential tools are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of residential electrical installation experience.
• Basic understanding of wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting.
• Familiarity with electrical tools and safe installation practices.
• Ability to read basic plans and follow instructions.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Willing to provide the required/tools for the position.

What We're Looking For

• At least six months of residential electrical installation experience

• Familiarity with electrical tools and safe installation practices

Preferred: Electrical training certificate or completion of Level 1 electrical skills training.
