Job summary

Mount Sinai seeks an Associate Researcher I to conduct routine experiments and assist in data analysis for clinical research projects. The role includes sample handling, assay execution, and maintaining compliant laboratory operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with data handling and basic statistical methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and standardized experiments using project-specific techniques.
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory results and assist in data reporting.
  • Perform assays to support research studies and maintain materials and specimens.
  • Keep the laboratory environment organized and compliant with protocols and inventory.
  • Log and test samples, prepare materials for shipment, and organize received specimens.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and review for publication and presentation.
  • Perform data cleaning, organization, and quality control on datasets.
  • Carry out basic statistical analyses using R for descriptive stats and visuals.
  • Assist with data extraction and processing from EHRs or clinical registries.
