Job summary

Heartland ABA in Fairfield, IA is hiring an entry-level Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our clinical team and support children with Autism in home or community settings.

We offer paid training, flexible part-time hours, and a fast-pay option after clocking in and out. You will work under supervision to implement skill-building plans and record progress for families and BCBA supervision.

No prior experience required; RBT certification is preferred or can be pursued with paid training.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required before working.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
• No experience? No problem — paid training is provided!

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
