Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Radiology Technician to operate diagnostic imaging equipment, obtain quality digital images, and support physicians with prompt, accurate patient care in Ann Arbor.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, preparing for procedures, image capture, PACS/NextGen tasks, and maintenance of equipment and records in compliance with HIPAA and Trinity Health standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of, or currently enrolled in the final year of, an accredited Radiologic Technology program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology is preferred; valid CPR certification.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Entry-level position; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of patient care/radiology procedures and organizational policies related to position responsibilities.
• Ability to practice radiation protection.
• Proficient/knowledgeable in medical terminology.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations needed during the course of performing essential job duties.
• Proficient in operating a standard desktop and Windows-based computer system, including EMR, email, e-learning, intranet, Word and Excel, and navigation.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and with diverse populations.
• Cross-train in other areas of practice to ensure smooth workflow.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
