Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across all ages. You will perform fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the process.

You will uphold the organization's mission, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in operating radiologic equipment.
• Experience with radiologic technology and patient care from infancy to geriatrics.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Performs fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Respects patient rights, privacy and dignity in care.
• Identifies patient and explains procedures.
• Assists with directives and ethical considerations as needed.
• Reports suspected abuse/neglect when identified.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams on care.
• Upholds mission and core values and participates in performance improvement.
