Job summary

Catalent's Kansas City facility is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to join our team. You will perform sampling of raw materials, API, finished products, packaging components, and consumables under detailed procedures, with close supervision.

The role requires strong attention to GMP concepts, accuracy, and the ability to work on-site in Kansas City, MO from Monday to Friday 6:30am–3:00pm. You will collaborate with internal customers and maintain records per SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to apply GMP concepts and interpret instructions.
• Effectively manages personal work priorities and communicates clearly.
• Well organized with multitasking ability.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and perform required physical tasks.
• Reading and visual inspection with computer monitor usage.
• Wearing respirator in confined spaces when required.
• Operate pallet jack up to 1,000 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling of raw materials, API, finished products, packaging components, and consumables following procedures.
• Prepare sampling packets and internal sample labels; update inventory after sampling.
• Prepare release sample shipments as needed and ensure sampling is compliant with procedures and regulatory guidance.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers, peers, and supervisors to support project activities.
• Understand project timelines and deliver work on time.

Skills

Two years pharmaceutical experience

Experience in inspection or sampling

Education
