Job summary

SAC Incorporated is seeking an Entry Level QC Inspector to join the Compliance/QAQC team in Utah. You will inspect fabricated material through welding stages and document findings, contributing to quality control across projects in North America.

The ideal candidate has basic QC inspection skills, 1–2 years welding or related field experience, and a high school diploma. This role offers growth potential and exposure to diverse infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic QC inspection skills helpful.
• 1–2 years welding or related field experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of welding standards such as D1.1 desirable.

Responsibilities

• In-process inspections and documentation of fabrication stages.
• Weld inspections and inspection reports.
• Ensure welding quality meets SAC standards.
• Maintain compliance with procedures and specifications.
• Generate and file accurate inspection records.

Job Description

SAC is in search of a new team member to inspect and document fabricated material through each step of the welding process. Successful candidates will have basic QC inspection skills and at least 1-2 years in welding or a related field. Applicants must have some knowledge of D1.1 and have received a high school diploma.

Typical Responsibilities

• Ensures that all employees and departments are in compliance with the rules and regulations of SAC and any relative standards
• In process inspections and inspection reports
• Weld inspections and inspection reports
• Ensures welding quality meets company standards
• Maintains compliance with procedures and specifications
