Job summary

The Medical Device Company in San Jose seeks an Entry Level Quality Assurance Technician on a 6‑month contract (W2) for first shift. The role covers visual and dimensional inspection of raw materials and finished products, recording results in SAP, and following SOPs to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspection and dimensional analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP/ISO 9000 environments is beneficial.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail required.
• Experience with SAP and quality documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional/mechanical inspection of materials and finished products.
• Assess dimensional accuracy using appropriate inspection tools and methods.
• Document results with Good Documentation Practices in SAP.
• Communicate issues to engineers and follow SOPs and QA procedures.
• Maintain quality records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
