Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer I to assist in QA/QC and product development in compliance with medical device regulations.

You will support incoming inspections, document controls, and CAPA activities under senior staff guidance. You will work within the Quality Assurance group to help ensure device traceability, record keeping, and data documentation while contributing to project-specific design control efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Familiarity with 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485; coursework or internship in these areas is preferred.
• Experience supporting CAPA-related activities within a structured quality system is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support QA/QC activities following established procedures for medical devices.
• Perform basic incoming inspections and final product checks with predefined criteria.
• Assist with complaint intake, document control, and traceability data entry under supervision.
• Maintain and organize QA records, logs, and test reports.
