Job summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer in Scottsdale to join its project management team. You will support the project manager with material purchasing, document control, and acting as a liaison with owners, architects, and engineers to keep projects on track.

Key duties include creating Submittals and RFIs, coordinating projects from start to finish, assisting with estimating, project setup and closeout, and supporting field operations while maintaining detailed job costs.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Entry-level project management experience acceptable.
• Willingness to travel and work required hours to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with material negotiation and purchasing; maintain documents.
• Serve as point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Create Submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate projects from start to finish and assist with estimating.
• Set up and close out projects; support field operations.
• Maintain detailed job costs and scheduling activities.
