Job summary

BMWC Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our industrial construction team in Indianapolis. You will learn from a seasoned Project Manager, gain exposure to controls, estimating, purchasing, and safety programs, and contribute to large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field required.
• Entry-level or experienced industrial construction project engineer considered.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform functions within Project Controls.
• Learn estimating department functions.
• Learn Purchasing, Tool & Equipment functions.
• Understand project commercial terms and conditions.
• Gain exposure to craft labor agreements and different contract strategies.
• Participate in Construction Operations Meetings.
• Perform accounting system functions.
• Develop customer relationships and participate in customer entertaining.
• Attend Risk Management training and safety audits (1 per week).
• Engage in Safety Incentive programs and daily safety planning.
• Contribute to Quality Action Teams and day-to-day process improvements.
• Understand Marketing Plan and assist project pursuits.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
