Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is hiring a production operator for the Hazel Park, MI site. You will operate basic machinery, load materials, monitor operations, perform routine checks, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a first shift environment.

The role requires following SOPs, strong attention to detail, teamwork, basic math, and familiarity with ERP systems. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates basic machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Loads and unloads materials into machinery.
• Monitors machine operations and reports any issues to the supervisor.
• Performs routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Adheres to all safety and company policies.
• Assists in troubleshooting machine issues.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
