Incumbents of the Entry Level Production position have averaged $100,000/year (this figure does include bonuses)

[Hourly Rate/Salary Range]: $16.37/hour plus production bonus (this figure does not include bonuses)

Production positions are paid a base hourly rate along with a production bonus which is calculated based on the amount of quality tons produced and paid weekly.

Nucor Steel Kankakee, Inc., is seeking to assemble a hiring pool of qualified applicants for semi-skilled production and support occupations. These jobs do not require prior manufacturing experience and all necessary training will be provided on the job. Some of these roles will require moderate to heavy lifting and can be physically demanding.
