Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking entry-level production workers at our Anderson, California sawmill. These roles offer hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and a fast-paced environment across manufacturing and related tasks.

Starting pay is $23.53 per hour with benefits including health coverage, a 401(k) with company match, retirement contributions, paid vacation and holidays. The work may involve various shifts, overtime, and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent related work experience.
• All applicants must be at least age 18.

Responsibilities

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative manufacturing facility
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
• Stack and pile lumber
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times
