Job summary

Dennis Group is hiring an Entry Level Process Engineer (start Spring 2027) for Salt Lake City, UT. You will work on designing and building food and beverage facilities, contributing to process design, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and start-up support.

The role requires 0-3 years of related experience or schooling, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the year. On-site, full-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience or schooling developing process designs.
• 0-3 years of experience or schooling preparing P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% for on-site construction coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop process design basis and select unit operations.
• Create process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and architects.
• Prepare mass and energy balances and equipment specs.
• Support project scope, budget and schedule development.
• Assist with cost estimates and client proposals.
• Oversee equipment installations and commissioning support.
