Job summary

Mittera Creative + Tech in Pineville, NC is seeking entry-level Press Assistants on all shifts to support the Press Department. You will assist with stacking, bundling, and prep for shipping, and help operate the web-fed offset press and in-line finishing as assigned.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math and reading skills, and strong teamwork. Training is provided with clear paths to advance into skilled press roles within our production environment.

Qualifications

• Reads work instructions and memos written in English.
• Communicates effectively with all levels in the organization.
• Uses basic math to solve practical problems.
• Reads diagrams or schedules to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Uniformly jog and hand-palletize printed products off the press equipment.
• Stage stacker equipment to meet current job requirements.
• Pack boxes according to load tickets and ship per instructions.
• Check printed product for quality defects.
• Assist during make-ready with wiping blankets and changing ink.
• Keep press areas clean and stocked with supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
