Lakeside Book Company in Owensville, MO is seeking a Machine Operator (Assistant Printing Press Operator) to support our offset printing process by making-ready, running and maintaining the press, and by preparing paper signatures that become book pages.

This role is full-time, on-site at 1005 Commercial Drive, with competitive pay of $23.00–$30.25/hour plus a $1.25 shift premium for night shifts, based on experience. Training is provided to help you advance.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry 20 to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
• Previous press experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make-ready, run and maintain an offset printing press
• Insert blankets and plates
• Assist the Press Operator by making register and color adjustments
• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
• Receive training to help advance your career
