Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or better; 21+ years old.
• Two years of college coursework or military discharge is acceptable in place of education.
• Ability to obtain DPSST certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity.
• Enforce laws, make arrests, preserve crime scene evidence, and issue citations.
• Investigate crashes, conduct investigations, and gather evidence.
• Provide testimony in judicial proceedings and present credible information.
