The Town of Orange Police Department is seeking an Entry Level Police Officer to join the full-time ranks. The officer will enforce Connecticut laws and Orange ordinances, protecting lives and property as calls arise and projects demand.

He or she will respond to routine and emergency calls and serve as a medical first responder as needed. The position offers growth from academy recruit pay to probationary officer pay, with a top step and various benefits, including retirement and health plans,

Formación

• Be 21 years of age at appointment.
• Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.
• Have 60 college credits.
• Possess a valid motor vehicle license.

Responsabilidades

• Enforce the laws of Connecticut and Orange ordinances while protecting lives and property.
• Respond to routine and emergency calls for service.
• Render first aid and provide assistance as medical first responders.
• Participate in selection process including written exam, oral interview, and assessments.
