Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and a U.S. Citizen
• At a minimum, must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Current, valid driver’s license in accordance with New Hampshire statutes
• Must never have been convicted of a felony
• Candidates will be required to obtain police officer certification within the time frame established by the NHPST
• Must pass a written exam, physical fitness tests and oral board
• Must pass a medical exam. Requirements for Vision and hearing
• Must successfully pass a background check and a polygraph exam
