Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Fabrication Associate - Entry Level to join our team in Lakeland, Florida. In this role you will follow established SOPs for thermoplastic pipe fabrication, assist with machine setup and maintenance, and help move and assemble pipe orders in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has basic math skills, good communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team, while adhering to safety rules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Demonstrate strong math skills for quantities on hand.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs for thermoplastic pipe fabrication and machine setup.
• Measure, record and cut pipe using various saw types with accuracy.
• Move pipe within the yard and assemble pipe orders meticulously.
• Observe safety precautions during fabrication, cutting, and shipping.
• Operate powered equipment following OSHA guidelines and FEI safety policies.
