Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Entry Level Fabrication Associate to join the shop team in Chicopee, MA. The role involves setting up machines, measuring and cutting pipe, and moving material throughout the yard while following OSHA and Ferguson safety procedures.

The position requires basic fabrication aptitude, strong math skills, and the ability to operate band saws, torches, and pipe threading equipment. A safety-first mindset and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
• Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities on hand.
• Experience operating cutting and threading machinery according to OSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure, record, and cut random pipe lengths.
• Measure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torch.
• Move loose or bundled pipe within the pipe yard.
• Assemble pipe orders, single sticks or bundles, and keep supplies organized.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, stacking and shipping of pipe.
