Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science or related field.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools and electronic equipment.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
  • Curiosity, proactive teamwork and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle lab tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing test samples.
  • Routine equipment maintenance.
  • Testing properties of solids, paper, tape, and film products.
  • Measuring tensile, shear, bond strength, and mechanical properties.
  • Conducting density and viscosity tests.
