Pace® Analytical Services in Minnesota is seeking a Physical Properties Technician to support the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division. You'll prepare and test samples in the lab for adhesive products and assist with lab maintenance. The role includes training and growth in laboratory sciences.

The position offers a $22.00 per hour compensation, with full-time benefits and opportunities to contribute to tensile, density and viscosity testing in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science or related field.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and electronic equipment.
• Experience creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Curiosity, proactive teamwork and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle lab tasks.

Responsibilities

• Preparing test samples.
• Routine equipment maintenance.
• Testing properties of solids, paper, tape, and film products.
• Measuring tensile, shear, bond strength, and mechanical properties.
• Conducting density and viscosity tests.
